Walter K. Singleton Marine Corps League Detachment 476 Memphis TN


The League is a Veterans Organization composed of Marines, Former-Marines, active duty Marines, and Marine Reservists.  The one and only membership qualification is honorable service in excess of 90 days in the Marine Corps.  This means that regardless of rank held, regardless of when or where you served, or what division or wing he/she served with, that Marine male or female, is welcome.  Navy Corpsmen that have served with Marines are also eligible.  If you are interested in joining the Sgt Walter K Singleton Marine Corps League Detachment 476 or would just like some additional information please contact Commandant Phil Taylor at c. 901-240-7310 or email him at ptaylor046@att.net.

Walter Keith Singleton (December 7, 1944– March 24, 1967) was a United States Marine Sergeant who posthumously received the Medal of Honor for his heroism in March 1967 during the Vietnam War. The award was presented by President Lyndon B. Johnson.
